The National Institute for Children's Health Quality (NICHQ) has a mission to drive change to improve children's health. We do that by partnering with other mission-aligned organizations and addressing complex health issues.
In our experience, physical and virtual teams become powerhouses when they can easily share ideas and best practices, get continuous expert input, track and review progress against common objectives, and exchange mission-critical resources to reach improvement goals. The NICHQ Collaboratory is that place.
Drawing upon two decades of experience leading improvement projects big and small, NICHQ developed the Collaboratory—or "CoLab" for short. The platform is designed specifically to support improvement teams working to make rapid change on a shared set of objectives.
The CoLab facilitates high-level collaboration asynchronously—giving team members the freedom to work at their own pace, from their own location. Our platform has been instrumental in helping improvement teams build a community, accelerate change and strive for continual innovation in many areas affecting children's health.
