- Reports in the CoLab data portal comprise a series of charts and team assessment (i.e., qualitative) information. Clicking on one of the series in the key will hide it from the chart. Double-clicking on one of the series in the key will keep it visible while hiding all of the others. You may also see a "Target" line (represented as a dashed red line in the chart).
- The data that comprise the chart can be viewed by clicking the blue "Show table" button just below it.
- Alternatively, you may download those data to CSV by clicking the "Download table" link./
- In some cases, a site administrator may have opted to activate functionality to detect whether any run chart rules have been triggered. Currently, the CoLab data portal will detect three of the four standard run chart rules: runs, shifts, and trends (astronomical data points are excluded). The results of these tests are shown in an olive box overlaying the chart. You can hide that box by clicking the olive "Rule Results" button below the chart.
- Most charts are run charts and will present more than one series line, indicated by a particular color in the key and the chart itself. You can hover your mouse over one of the data points to learn more about the data (i.e., the team and the calculation).
- You might also see small multiples charts, which may be useful to get a birds-eye view of some of the different trends occurring across teams on your project.
- As is available in the data entry forms, you can click the "i" icon next to a particular measure's name to see its definition, any data collection guidance, or other information.
- On a periodic basis, the system take a snapshot of the report automatically. You can view past snapshots by clicking the select box labeled "Saved reports" in the sidebar.
